Role summary:

In this role, you are going to be in touch with external customers and internal colleagues, mainly in German and/or Italian and English, so professional communication is key in this role. In addition, you will have the chance to leverage and develop your MS Office knowledge and learn various ERP systems. Your onboarding is supported by on-the-job training. The team is very enthusiastic, and energetic, and looking forward to welcoming its newest member.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a collection portfolio by monitoring and collecting open invoices on customer accounts

  • Interact with customers via email and phone

  • Maintain transparent, accurate and standard collections notes

  • Identify collection issues and open dispute case/escalate if needed

  • Frequently review sales orders on hold

  • Maintain documentation as per internal controls & SOX /audit requirements

  • Support the organization with timely month-end closing

  • Participate in scheduled Collection update calls

Qualifications:

  • 0-1 year relevant experience

  • Economics/Finance related Secondary Studies

  • Fluency in English and German and/or Italian

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to build effective relationships with customers

  • Beginner user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Good analytical, research and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

  • Supportive attitude and good interpersonal skill set

  • Embraces change

Preferred experience/skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree
