We are looking for a Clinical Data Manager for our partner company


Your responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain cloud-based data systems with requisite security, privacy, accuracy, and standardized processes and procedures for clinical trial management in accordance with study protocols
  • Develop and implement a relevant clinical trial data management plan
  • Work with scientists and relevant personnel to develop data-related SOPs that allow for centralized and remote data monitoring, tracking, and verification of all aspects of clinical trials.
  • Import existing data from multiple sources into newly developed database/data system where necessary mapped for consistency.
  • Identify and mitigate any issues or risks.
  • Develop automated reports as required to provide monthly/quarterly/annual progress reports.
  • Monitor, preserve, and lock database for integrity.
  • Teach, train, and assist researchers with data analysis.
  • Work with external contractors to develop user-specific dashboards to display specific data.
  • Supervise, manage, and train subordinates in line with GI.HU policies to ensure acquisition of knowledge and skills, optimal staff utilization, a culture of collaboration and information sharing, and maintenance of sound labor relations.
  • Assist in developing relevant statistical reports in English.
  • Ensures proper storage of operating system validation documents.
  • Demonstrate effective self-management by taking ownership for driving own career development through participating in ongoing training and professional development activities.
  • Perform duties with integrity with the utmost professional decorum.

What you need to succeed:

  • MSc in Information Management, Data Science, Bioinformatics or equivalent degree with two or more years of full-time data management experience preferably in a clinical trial setting.
  • Certification and/or experience working in a LINUX/UNIX or related computerized systems that can be used to create, modify, maintain, archive, retrieve, or transmit clinical data.
  • Strong programming skills in SQL and either Python, R or STATA.
  • A Certified Clinical Data Manager (CCDM) credential or its equivalent is preferred.
  • Desirable personal abilities that include communication, writing, and interpersonal skills; emotional and social intelligence; multicultural competence, time management; self-resilience and flexibility; ability to work independently and under time constraints; etc.
  • Native or near-native fluency in spoken and written standard English.
  • Must have working experience in data management or data sciences.
  • Ability to develop and manage relational databases, run queries, automate, data clean, and organize large amounts of data.
  • Experience in automating and generating pipelines.
  • A demonstrated understanding of AI-based clinical data management is desirable.
