RtR Governance Process Consultant

Job Purpose:

The role is about to establish simplified, standardized and automated global processes in close co-operation with Finance Manager, Senior Finance Manager and with the finance experts from operations. Furthermore identifying areas for improvements and ensure that the processes are deployed and operated thoroughly e.g. in the Shared Service, One Finance with continuous improvements.

          

Your tasks will be:

  • Support the Finance Manager (process owner) converting strategic directions into day-to-day operational best practices on RTR area
  • Support continuous process improvement activities
  • Support deployment of processes including required technology
  • Evaluate business activities from process and system point of view
  • Support Finance operation in their daily activities, especially at month end close
  • Act as second level support for SAP questions on RTR area
  • Participate in projects as Subject Matter Expert on RTR area, conduct Fit gap sessions and work out solution proposals
  • Ensure valid and updated process documentation and training material at all times and up-to-date communication through different channels.
  • Process deployment and ensure close follow up
  • Conduct process interviews to provide feedback to operations on compliance with documented processes
  • Conduct introduction of global processes and acts as Subject Matter Experts for the processes
  • Identify gaps, propose solutions and prepare impact assessment to facilitate policy making
  • Develop process documentation and work instructions together with process experts from finance operation
  • Support ongoing Internal Control process improvements
  • Support Performance measurement

 

Ideally you have:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree within Finance
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in managerial position or process development in SSC (Record to Report/Governance department is an asset)
  • Experience building developed processes within finance process exc.
  • Ability to coordinate processes or projects.
  • Ability to develop a business process within finance process exc.
  • Solid knowledge of the plans, processes and activities within the functional area in finance.
  • Great ability influence others.
  • Possess a great understanding of the relevant systems, local laws and regulations where applicable, for the finance process exc area.
