Your new company 

Our Partner is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to join their team in Hungary. 

As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing their enterprise IT infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our ERP systems, specifically Oracle and SAP.

Your new role 

- Lead and manage the IT department, providing guidance and support to a team of IT professionals.

- Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the efficient and secure operation of our IT systems.

- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of their IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases.

- Ensure the availability, performance, and security of their ERP systems (Oracle and SAP).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize IT initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives.

- Manage IT budgets and resources effectively, ensuring cost optimization without compromising on quality and functionality.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and industry trends, making recommendations for continuous improvement.

- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.

- Provide technical expertise and support to end-users, resolving issues and providing training when necessary.

What you'll need to succeed 

- Proven work experience as an IT Manager or similar role.

- Strong background in IT infrastructure management and ERP systems, with specific experience in Oracle and SAP.

- Excellent knowledge of networking protocols, server administration, and database management.

- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and project management methodologies.

- Experience in managing IT budgets and resources.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or

- Master's Degree or equivalent qualification with internships, senior projects, or a thesis in Engineering or Scientific field, including industry or industry/education experience.

 

Additional Skills:

- Extensive experience with manufacturing software such as MES including a deep understanding of complex system architecture and integration.

- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, demonstrated through the successful development and implementation of transformative initiatives.

- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to establish clear operational plans, motivate teams, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Advanced knowledge of business intelligence tools and techniques, leveraging data analytics for strategic decision
