Chinese Sales Graduate

(with native Chinese language knowledge)

By joining us, you will have the opportunity to acquire practical knowledge in insurance broking and risk consulting, learning from our globally renowned subject matter experts. Additionally, you will become an integral part of our extensive international network, fostering valuable connections along the way.

The ideal candidate is agile, demonstrates the classic attributes and key qualities of a traditional insurance salesperson, such as strong relationship-building skills, proactivity, the ability to identify and approach potential clients and individuals, and reaching out to them through cold calls / mails. He / She also excels in maintaining continuous, regular personal contact, conducting visits, coordinating activities, and actively participating in the creation and delivery of professional materials. He / She possesses a deep understanding of Chinese business culture well and effectively applies, leverages this knowledge to achieve success in establishing and maintaining relationships and during negotiations. Additionally, he/she is capable of working collaboratively as a valuable, key member of the client-serving team.

Key responsibilities:

Take an active role in the development and execution of our upcoming sales initiative by:

  • Conducting a thorough review and analysis of both external and internal corporate client databases to identify potential clients for the company.
  • Engaging with identified prospects through email or phone communication to schedule meetings
  • Cooperating with the sales / account team members in preparation for meetings and providing client value proposition materials.
  • Collaborating on the implementation of targeted direct marketing campaigns aimed at prospective companies.
  • Assisting the account team in managing large-scale initiatives or complex accounts, including the development and implementation of action plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring that service delivery meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Cultivating and nurturing relationships between the organization and clients, with a specific focus on identifying new business opportunities.
  • Serving as a liaison between internal teams, vendors, and clients on an ongoing basis to ensure the delivery of high-quality service and promptly address any inquiries or concerns.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated interest in risk management, sales, marketing, and corporate insurance.
  • Native Chinese and fluent proficiency English language knowledge.
  • Deep understanding of Chinese business culture.
  • In progress or completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics or financial management or engineering.
  • Proactive attitude with a strong "can-do" mindset.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • High sense of responsibility and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently as an individual contributor, as well as working collaboratively as a valuable, key member of the client-serving team
