GL Accountant ( German speaking) Our multinational partner company is looking for a German speaking GL Accountant.


Why it is a good opportunity for you: Hybrid working: 3 days home office and 2 days office Health & Safety: highest standards and a wide range of health promotion and healthcare activities (Medicover package) OTP Szép Card: Gross 39.000 HUF / month and annual bonus Pension: they have various financial models to give you individual support Training and education programs to help you develop professionally and personally Job summary: Be involved in day-to-day operations in the following process areas (not exhaustive) Manage Manual & Semi automatic postings Calculate inventory adjustments, reconcile reports, calculate provisions Post inventory adjustments Balance Sheet: Banking Bank statement posting to GL accounts FX transaction and perform posting Decide on Accounting treatment for deferred items, perform postings Accrual and provision management Roll forward schedule of accruals, perform posting Manage Profit & Loss, HR expenses General Ledger Closing, Reconciliation of GL and sub-ledgers Month end controls, Prepare documentation for auditor/tax authorities Responsible for internal audit controls Be adherent to agreed service levels, policies and procedures Identify, evaluate and resolve issues (incl.


process improvements) Engage in collaboration with the business and stakeholders to develop a professional relationship Provide qualitative customer service Ensure that all process manuals/relevant work instructions are created and updated on a regular basis Requirements: University degree in Economics or Finance with major in accounting or equivalent qualification Very good English and German language skills (written and spoken) 1+ years of experience in accounting (primarily GL) Transition experience is beneficial Very good understanding of the GL processes Continuous Improvement and Quality mindset Strong customer orientation Very good knowledge of SAP FI Ability to pay close attention to detail and prioritize the right things at the right time Excellent communication skills
