Ceva seeks applicants for the full-time position of Scientist in the Immunological Methods Platform within the Biological Research and Development Directorate of Ceva's Phlyaxia Campus in Budapest's 10th district. This is an onsite role that could offerslimited home office opportunities.

The Phylaxia Campus is one of the flagship sites of Ceva Animal Health group. The Immunological Methods Platform is part of the Global Analytical Department, supporting analytical method development, routine testing. We are involved in every stage of the vaccine development from POC studies to dossier registration and support routine testing.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Reporting to the Immunology Methods Laboratory Leader you will lead vaccine analytical development, oversee ELISA optimization and validation, and manage the laboratory phase of development tasks, ensuring compliance with GLP standards.The role involves developing new analytical methods, supporting method transfer, and collaborating with internal and external partners, with a focus on accurate documentation and reporting.

YOUR DAY TO DAY
  • Leading vaccine analytical development
  • Directing ELISA optimization and validation
  • Utilizing knowledge of protein analytical methods
  • Searching for, developing, and optimizing new analytical methods
  • Planning, organizing, leading, and supervising the laboratory phase of development tasks in collaboration with laboratory technicians
  • Supporting method transfer
  • Ensuring the reliability of experiments, preparing documentation according to standard operating procedures, in compliance with GLP requirements
  • Evaluating results and preparing reports in Hungarian and English
  • Collaborating and maintaining communication with internal and external partners, experts

, WHAT YOU WILL BRING
  • University degree in biology, bioengineering, chemistry, or a related field (MSc)
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in chromatography, HPLC, protein separation and purification techniques are an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of MS and protein sequencing are an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • PhD is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills and analytical thinking
  • Strong computer skills: data management and processing, report and presentation preparation
