Budapest, Hungary Johnson Controls International Full time

We are seeking an experienced Designer to join our Building Management Systems team.

What You Will Do

  • Design electrical systems for various projects, including power distribution and control systems in ePlan.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects and other team members to develop electrical design solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Perform calculations and analysis to determine electrical load capacities, voltage drop and short circuit calculations.
  • Select appropriate electrical components, equipment and materials for each project.
  • Review and evaluate electrical documentation, specifications and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing electrical systems and gather information for design projects.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members during the construction and installation phases.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, codes and regulations related to electrical design.
  • Creating/modifying the schematic drawings
  • Creating the BMS floor plan design drawings in AutoCAD

What We Look For

  • Education in Electrical Engineering or related.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Designer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components and equipment.
  • Knowledge of ePlan and AutoCAD is an advantage
  • Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
