Position Overview Diligent are looking for someone who has a strong knowledge of automated test design to join our Center for Global Product Innovation in Budapest. The ideal candidate will have proven ability to apply effective analysis, and testing skills to produce and maintain scaled SaaS software solutions. The successful candidate will work as part of an established team who are used to working together to achieve excellent results. They will want to take ownership of the features they are working on, proactively drive improvements in test design and development practices, and work with more junior members of the team to help develop their skills and optimize the performance of the team over time. Key Responsibilities Assist with analysis and documentation of technical requirements and user stories for assigned features, in accordance with the agile methodology employed by Diligent. To a reasonable degree of accuracy, definition, and estimation of test development tasks for assigned features and user stories. Design automated test to cover the whole application, occasionally testing manually in accordance with the agile methodology employed by Diligent. Establishing strong support for developers to maintain product quality at a high level. Required Experience/Skills: At least 2 years’ experience in a hands-on automation test development at a commercial software company ISTQB certificate (Foundation level +) Experienced in API and UI testing. Solid understanding of test design techniques and concepts JavaScript / Typescript programming experience Good written and oral communications in English Experience with Scrum software development framework Preferred but not essential. Experience working with Cypress framework. Experience working with JMeter Experience with Docker image build Experience with CI/CD pipeline maintenance (GitHub Actions) What Diligent Offers You Creativity is ingrained in our culture.
