Our American multinational partner company is looking for a Statutory Controller colleague for team. The Statutory Controller will manage the end-to-end statutory reporting process and compliance activities with respect to the assigned entities.The ideal candidate should have a minimum 4 years of accounting/audit experience, and fluent English knowledge.Benefits:Hybrid workingSzép Card, trainings, language courses, annual bonusGreat learning and development opportunities Supportive work environmentYour tasks will be as a Statutory Controller:Management of the end-to-end local statutory reporting processes for some EMEA and/or AP legal entitiesResponsible for managing the preparation of the statutory financial statements and ensuring that those are in line with the regulations and policiesOverseeing the statutory adjustments made and proposed by the SSC Cebu team and/or the service providersPreparing reconciliations between the statutory, tax, and US-GAAP ledgers for the EMEA countries assignedWorking together with the tax service provider in relation to the preparation of the tax returnsReviewing the accuracy and completeness of the statutory financial statements and tax calculations and ensuring the timely filingEnsuring other compliance-related activities of the legal entitiesResponsible for supporting the statutory audit processesMaking suggestions how to improve and make more efficient the statutory accounting processesRequirements:Significant work experience in an international environmentMinimum 4 years of accounting/audit experienceSolid IFRS and US-GAAP knowledgeRelevant international statutory experienceFluent English mandatory, both written and oralVery good communication skills
