We are looking for a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to join our team in delivering a critical IT projects centered on trading, risk management, and reporting. In this role, you will not only bring your expertise in these areas but also serve as a collaborative representative of both your team and the company, ensuring that stakeholder relationships and project goals are managed with professionalism and integrity. While energy trading knowledge is a significant advantage, the primary focus is on driving success in the trading and risk management domain. What You’ll Do:Scope Definition and Analysis:Work with stakeholders to define and document project scope, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and team goals.Break down high-level business requirements into actionable deliverables, always prioritizing clarity and team collaboration.Identify risks, dependencies, and priorities early in the project lifecycle to set your team up for success.Business Analysis and Consulting:Act as a facilitator between business and technical teams, ensuring all parties have a shared understanding of requirements and objectives.Provide insights and recommendations on system improvements, workflows, and best practices that enhance trading, risk management, and reporting capabilities.Foster a consultative environment, where solutions are co-created with the team and stakeholders.Team and Stakeholder Representation:Represent the project team and the company in Steering Committee meetings and other executive-level discussions, providing well-rounded updates and recommendations.Ensure that your contributions reflect the collective insights of the team, promoting a unified and professional image.Act as an advocate for the team’s work, while maintaining transparency and fostering trust with stakeholders.Domain Expertise:Leverage your deep understanding of trading and risk management to guide the team through domain-specific challenges.Contribute to designing effective reporting solutions that align with business needs.Use your familiarity with energy trading/markets as an additional value to enhance discussions and solutions.Project Coordination:Work closely with project managers and technical leads to support delivery planning and manage scope changes collaboratively.Mentor junior analysts or oversee small project teams when needed, ensuring that everyone contributes effectively to the project’s success.What they’re Looking For:8+ years as a Business Analyst or Consultant in IT projects, with strong expertise in trading, risk management, and reporting systems.A proven track record of working collaboratively within teams and representing them at the executive level.Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to document and translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements.Strong relationship management skills, ensuring that team and stakeholder interactions are professional and productive.Fluency in English is required; French is a significant advantage.Familiarity with IT project methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and consulting approaches.Expertise in trading and risk management is essential.Experience in energy trading and markets is a strong plus but not mandatory.Experience in transformation projects is an advantage.Experience coordinating work across a team, mentoring junior analysts, or managing small project teams is highly valued.Why Join?Collaborate with a talented team to deliver impactful solutions in the trading and risk management domain.Represent a professional and respected organization, ensuring that both team efforts and stakeholder relationships are handled with care and excellence.Gain visibility at the executive level, where your insights will shape key decisions.Be part of a culture that values teamwork, shared success, and professional growth.Place of work:BudapestHow to apply:Send us your CV by clicking on the "APPLY" button below.What happens after your application:Our colleagues will assess your application according to the professional requirements indicated in the advertisement and, if they find you suitable on the basis of the information described there, will forward your professional profile to our client.Your application will then be handled by our client, so we will not be involved in the rest of the selection process.A jelentkezéssel elfogadod a Beck and Partners Kft. adatvédelmi tájékoztatóját.
