What We Need

We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. In this role, you’ll design and build scalable back-end services, integrate blockchain and Web3 features, and ensure secure, efficient data management and storage for decentralized applications. You’ll also work closely with a remote team to deliver high-quality, reliable code.

Who You Are

You’re a backend developer with at least 3 years of experience in Node.js, Python, or Go, and have hands-on experience with blockchain and Web3 technologies. You’re detail-oriented, highly motivated, and ready to dive into an exciting work environment. You’re experienced with managing the complete life cycle of back-end projects and comfortable working with complex systems.

*This role is fully remote but only candidates located within +2 or -2 Central African Time or Central European time zones.

Skills ✨

Must have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of backend development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with blockchain and Web3 technologies.
  • Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Go.
  • Solid understanding of API design and RESTful principles.
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, CI/CD, and version control workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Located roughly within the CET timezone.

Nice to have:

“Nice to have” skills cover a variety of areas and can boost your application, though they’re not required.

  • Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with cloud providers such as AWS or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of smart contracts and blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Polygon).
  • Experience with decentralized storage solutions like IPFS or Filecoin.
  • Experience wirth Solana
