EHS engineer

Main Responsibilities:

• Handle environmental protection-related procedures, including understanding and following local environmental regulations, occupational health requirements, and
  wastewater and exhaust emission standards.
•  Manage factory environments, ensure the normal operation of wastewater and exhaust treatment facilities, and supervise them according to legal and compliant standards.
•  Participate in the later stages of factory construction, assist in developing environmental management plans, and ensure that environmental protection requirements are met during the construction and operation of the factory.
• Train employees on environmental awareness and operations to enhance their emphasis and understanding of environmental protection.
• Regularly report on environmental work status to superiors, propose improvement
  measures and suggestions.

We are looking for an environmental engineer for a company whose products are found in one out of every three electric cars worldwide and which achieved first place in the field of energy storage in 2021. Their innovative manufacturing technologies and industrial solutions have also been recognized with the German Industrie 4.0 award.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above, majoring in Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields.
•  Possess at least 3 years of EHS work experience in the  manufacturing sector.
• Familiar with local environmental regulations, occupational health requirements, and wastewater and exhaust emission standards in Hungary.
•  Willing to work in the Nyíregyháza area and occasionally travel to Budapest for business trips.
