IFRS Accounting Expert About the PositionDevelop accounting procedures in compliance with international (IFRS) and Hungarian accounting regulations, support strategic goals effectively, and provide expert accounting advice to the parent company and its subsidiaries.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor, interpret, and implement changes in IFRS and other regulatory standards.Develop and continuously improve IFRS accounting treatments, considering legal changes and business needs.Prepare decision-making proposals and accounting alternatives.Analyze differences between Hungarian accounting laws and IFRS, providing solutions for subsidiaries preparing IFRS financial statements.Manage IFRS amendments, liaising with the Group Reporting team and auditors.Classify new business transactions and implement their IFRS treatment in the system.Actively participate in accounting-related projects.Prepare and maintain process documentation.RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or finance.Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in IFRS.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.Preferred QualificationsSAP system knowledge.IFRS / DipIFR certification.What We Offer:A chance to expand your expertise in the oil & gas industry.Opportunities to collaborate with professionals from diverse countries and functions.A platform for innovative solutions.A friendly and motivating work atmosphere.Competitive salary package.Flexible work arrangements.
