About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Security Engineer to join our team in Budapest. As a Product Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Closely collaborate with engineering teams to improve the security of our products and implement secure software development practices.
  • Perform security design reviews, threat modelling, and code reviews to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Apply and maintain security tools, including SAST, SCA, DAST, CSPM, and WAF, to ensure the security of our products.
  • Assess the risk of security findings and suggest remediation to ensure the security of our products.
  • Extend and share your knowledge with the broader security team and product engineering teams to ensure a secure and reliable product.
  • Create guidelines for recurring security challenges, such as configuring TLS, creating a proper CSP, and preventing XSS.
  • Participate in and provide security technology-specific security training sessions, such as LLM security risks and GraphQL security.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in Application Security/SW pentesting.
  • Deep technical knowledge in web application security.
  • Confident knowledge of at least one Static Application Security Testing tool (SAST), such as Burp Suit Pro, SonarQube, Fortify, etc.
  • Experience with code reviews, threat modelling, testing, and analyzing applications.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
