Job Description

We are seeking an Anti-Money Laundering Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in responding to queries/addressing escalations received from the 1LOD and in developing and implementing work paper templates, documentation standards, and processes for knowledge sharing across regional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicating and working closely with regional surveillance partners and business stakeholders to enable the effective exchange of information needed to facilitate a consistent risk-based approach across Interactive Brokers' multiple markets and operating entities.
  • Assist in responding to external requests for information resulting from FIU activities and other ad hoc obligations.
  • Provide ongoing support to develop policies and procedures, execute Quality Assurance, and facilitate escalations and feedback.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transaction monitoring, identifying red flags/typologies, and experience working with SQL. They should also have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have a degree in law, business, finance, or accounting, and at least 2+ years' experience in transaction monitoring for financial crimes. You should also have good knowledge of local regulations and European Directives about documenting risk-based decisions and conclusions regarding potentially suspicious activity.
