About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as Head of Direct Sales. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our direct sales team and driving sales growth across the EMEA region.

Your primary focus will be on consistently achieving target bookings growth, enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of our sales representatives, and providing coaching to improve customer interactions. You will also be responsible for recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members to strengthen the team.

In this role, you will collaborate with other sales teams to share best practices and ensure alignment between channel and direct sales. You will also work closely with revenue operations, sales engineering, marketing, people operations, and IT to remove barriers and promote a unified team culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, fostering a competitive and success-driven team culture
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members to strengthen the team
  • Consistently achieve target bookings growth across the EMEA region
  • Enhance sales representatives' activity, effectiveness, and efficiency
  • Provide coaching to sales representatives to improve the quality and speed of customer interactions
  • Collaborate with other sales teams to share best practices and ensure alignment between channel and direct sales
  • Work cross-functionally with revenue operations, sales engineering, marketing, people operations, and IT to remove barriers and promote a unified team culture
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B direct sales or related roles
  • 5+ years of sales management experience, including coordination of an international team
  • Achievement-oriented, hungry to succeed
  • Persistent and have a "never give up" attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Data-driven mindset
  • Have an affinity for avant-garde technologies and/or engineering
  • Fluent in English, and other European languages is a huge plus
