Our client, a renowned International gaming company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team in Budapest. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work on challenging projects and contribute to the growth of the company.



Job Summary:


We are looking for a talented Senior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to oversee the development and implementation of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing, quality assurance, and software development methodologies. They will be responsible for creating test plans, executing tests, and analyzing results to ensure that our products meet the highest standards.



Responsibilities:



  • Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure thorough coverage of all software components
  • Develop and execute manual and automated tests to validate product functionality and performance
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements to our testing processes
  • Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth and development of the QA team


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or related field
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and quality assurance principles
  • Proficient in test management tools such as JIRA and Spira
  • Familiarity with SQL and database concepts
  • Experience with Linux operating systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
