Financial Director

Job Summary
Expeditors International Hungary Kft is seeking a skilled Financial Controller to oversee the company's financial affairs. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for directing the financial strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing financial expertise to support business operations.

Main Responsibilities
• Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to drive business growth and improve financial performance.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Oversee internal controls, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and identify and mitigate financial risks to protect the company's assets.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Provide guidance and support to financial teams, collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes, and promote a culture of compliance and integrity.

Requirements
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting or Finance, with relevant certifications (CPA, CMA, etc.).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in financial leadership, with a proven track record of success in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, including US GAAP and Hungary's financial laws and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to drive change and promote a culture of compliance and integrity.
• Fluency in English and Hungarian, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
