Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Export-Import Coordinator in Logistics to join our team at Randstad Hungary Kft. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the entire loading and shipment process, ensuring timely delivery to customers, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transactional Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and third-party logistics service providers.
  • Loading and Shipment Coordination: Coordinate with local plant, warehouse, terminal personnel, and carriers to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Issue Resolution: Actively monitor open orders and deliveries to identify and resolve issues early, minimizing disruptions.
  • Freight Invoice Discrepancies: Assist in resolving freight invoice discrepancies.
  • Internal Relationships: Maintain relationships with various functions, including business, sales, supply chain planning, logistics procurement, product management, and others.
  • Operational Escalation: Ensure compliance with defined operational escalation procedures when encountering unforeseen delays.
  • Documentation and Investigation: Document, investigate, and follow up on internal and external complaints.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend process improvements, including investigating quality failures and developing preventive and corrective actions.

Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, freight, import-export or shipment coordination.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Assertive, strong communication skills and personality.
  • Great problem-solving, solution-oriented, and troubleshooting attitude.
  • Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
  • Previous experience working in a multinational environment is advantageous.
