About the Job

NIX Tech Kft. is a leading supplier of software engineering and IT outsourcing services, seeking an experienced Performance Quality Assurance Engineer to join its team in Budapest.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute comprehensive performance testing plans to assess software applications' scalability and efficiency.
  • Analyze system behavior and identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with developers to implement performance improvements and resolve related issues.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality performance test scripts and scenarios.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to establish performance benchmarks and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Performance QA Engineer or similar role.
  • In-depth understanding of networks and protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP(s), WebSocket).
  • Solid programming skills in languages like Java, Scala, Python, JS, or C#.
  • Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, K6, Locust, or Gatling.
  • Familiarity with performance monitoring and profiling tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • English skills at the upper-intermediate or higher level.
Bonus Points:
  • Knowledge of database systems and SQL queries for performance testing.
  • Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud-based performance testing platforms.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

NIX Tech Kft. offers a competitive salary: approximately €35,000 - €50,000 per year, depending on experience.
