About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the application security team and expand product security across our international software developer company's products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with software engineers, product owners, and architects to ensure security best practices across products.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and platform teams to understand application security requirements.
  • Conduct security design reviews, engage in threat modelling, and perform code reviews.
  • Utilise penetration testing skills to bolster internal and external applications' security.
  • Address complex server-side application issues through debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Educate engineering teams and security champions in secure coding and development practices.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 4-5 years of experience in IT Security.
  • Previous hands-on experience as Application Security Engineer/Pentester.
  • Knowledge in application security tooling.
  • Experience in securing web applications written in PHP.
  • Strong English knowledge (both verbal and written).
