Job Description

NI Hungary Kft. is seeking a highly skilled Indirect Tax Accountant to join our team. As an Indirect Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for providing support for indirect tax-related duties of National Instruments Corporation and the Hungarian Manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and file certain EMEIA and APAC indirect tax returns, as well as reconcile output/input VAT per general ledger to monthly/quarterly VAT returns.
  • Assist business/customers with daily tax issues and support the US GAAP (Group) audits and local statutory audits by providing timely responses to any audit questions and requests.
  • Prepare and document proper working papers to support the review of VAT returns and related filings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
  • Ability to learn new software packages (e.g. Oracle and Vertex).
  • Advanced written and oral command of English.
