Job Title: Indirect Lead Commodity Specialist

GE Gas Power is seeking a highly skilled Indirect Lead Commodity Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sourcing team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of indirect commodities, driving process improvements, and leading Lean initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage RFQ, negotiations, selection, and contracting for local business needs
  • Take the lead in complex commodity negotiations with high spend and business impact
  • Drive process improvements for identified areas in Sourcing and Procurement activities
  • Lead Lean initiatives and identify Lean projects
  • Ensure contract execution for suppliers based on prices, delivery, and quality terms
  • Manage major fulfillment issues with functional leaders
  • Deliver metrics for the business, including savings, cash, supplier consolidation, and PSL%
  • Use actual reporting tools for savings, cash, and PSL modification
  • Manage supplier contracts and modifications
  • Ensure ordering strategy execution as decided with functional leaders
  • Implement communication tools for adequate communication between functions and suppliers
  • Manage supplier performance and report out QBR sessions
  • Update the sourcing database regarding prices, contracts, LCC content, and E-auction numbers
  • Be the production control contact for sourcing issues with functional leaders
  • Coordinate buyers and requisitioners
Requirements:
  • Business or technical education (MSc/BSc)
  • Significant experience in indirect sourcing
  • Fluent Hungarian and English language skills
