Aviation Production Supervisor

We are looking for a Production Manager to support and help drive changes in our shop. As a key member of our Aviation Repair network, you will work at a facility with one of the largest portfolios of Aircraft Engine platforms in Europe.

• Leadership and Accountability: Demonstrate accountability for all operational objectives related to production, integrating and developing processes that meet business needs across the organization.
• Process Improvement: Drive process/product improvement, new product implementations, and provide process method excellence throughout the organization.
• Culture and Leadership: Establish, manage, and continuously improve a lean culture at the cell/function level to help achieve common goals and customer satisfaction.
• Talent Management: Select, hire, train, develop, and provide ongoing leadership and direction of assigned personnel.
• Project Management: Manage and execute reorganization projects within budget.
• Productivity Improvement: Drive productivity improvements in line with the support of 6S and engineering department.

Requirements:

• Engineering/Technical degree from an accredited university or college.
• Clearly demonstrated implementing/leading lean/Kaizen activities with proven outcomes.
• At least 5 years of experience in a shop role, preferably in metalworking environment.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills in a matrix environment.
• Demonstrated skills in coaching and mentoring talent.
• Experience leading and motivating diverse workforce.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing management disciplines, such as production control, and standard cost management; strong financial acumen.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Hungarian.
