Senior Planner Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our team at Randstad Hungary Kft. As a Senior Planner, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing supply chain planning work processes that drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supply Chain Planning: Develop short-term production schedules aligning with demand forecasts and inventory policies, ensuring seamless coordination with manufacturing, procurement, and warehouse teams.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels and trends, implementing inventory control policies and procedures to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
  • Transportation and Distribution: Plan and coordinate the transportation and distribution of products, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery to customers.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the supply chain, presenting findings to senior management and implementing changes to drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (Master's degree and professional certification e.g., APICS, CSCP are a plus).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in ERP and supply chain planning software (e.g., SAP), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong organizational and time management skills.
