Responsibilities
  • As the focal point for the legal entities' financials, you will be the primary contact for reporting colleagues, controllers, and external service providers on statutory bookkeeping, payroll, and tax-related matters.
  • You will be responsible for end-to-end accounting of the legal entities, ensuring quality control of accounting through reconciliation, both manual and automated.
  • Shape the optimization of administrative processes through further standardization, automation, and centralization for group reporting and statutory accounting management.
  • Design and implement monthly, quarterly, and annual closing-related tasks in line with the Group's standard and local principles, coordinating with business, financial BP, and system consultants.
  • Work with IT to manage the functional aspects of various applications and make changes and adjustments to enrich the work.
  • Proactively manage and monitor transaction posting, reconciliations performance to drive accuracy and timeliness of all deliverables.
  • Maintain strong controls ensuring all group policies and statutory requirements are complied with by the SSC team.
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring process flows and standard operating procedures are current, reviewed by all staff and stakeholders, and constantly enhanced and improved.
  • Main contact person for cross-functional projects, BS review support, and follow-up digital archive supervision.
  • Responsible for other tasks assigned by superiors.
Qualifications
  • Statutory knowledge for EU countries is a plus, but not expected.
  • Degree at Bachelor level or above, preferably Business Economics or Accountancy.
  • 8+ years of accounting work experience, including more than 5 years of general ledger experience. Those with work experience in manufacturing enterprises and Internet car manufacturing enterprises are preferred.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in managing EU accounting application and statutory compliances.
  • End-to-end accounting experience is a plus, experience in US GAAP or IFRS is a huge plus.
  • SAP experience is a must, SAP technical background knowledge is huge plus.
  • A great communicator who can build strong working relationships with external advisors and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, multiple languages are a plus (e.g. Mandarin and other languages).
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Results-oriented with excellent planning, prioritizing, and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to collaborate with our headquarters across multiple time zones.
