About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer Structural Analysis to join our team. As an engineer in this role, you will be responsible for performing structural and rotor dynamic analysis on various product lines, including pumps, valves, and seals. Your expertise will be used to optimize mechanical product design in accordance with customer specifications and requirements.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform structural and vibration engineering analyses on products to ensure their adequacy in relation to design requirements
* Execute the impact of design modifications on structural design
* Define critical dimensions of products and components
* Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) of machine components and sub-assemblies to determine stress, strain, and natural frequencies
* Review and evaluate customer specifications and supplier quotations related to technical acceptability of mechanical design
* Assess FEA results against customer specifications, industry standards, and company procedures for fatigue life and dynamic stability

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
* At least 7 years of experience in applied structural mechanical analysis, specifically rotating equipment
* Strong knowledge of complex pump/seal/valve design, hydraulic drawings, and finite element analysis packages (ANSYS)
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a customer-oriented environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
