Job Summary:

NIX Tech Kft., a leading provider of software engineering and IT outsourcing services, is seeking a highly skilled Junior Data Engineer Python to join its team in Budapest. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing new features to support our growing data needs, building and maintaining pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, and collaborating with other teams to share knowledge and best practices.

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with the team to implement new features to support the growing data needs.
  • Build and maintain pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources.
  • Monitor and anticipate trends in data engineering and propose changes in alignment with organizational goals and needs.
  • Share knowledge with other teams on various data engineering or project-related topics.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in data engineering and experience with Python programming.
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
  • Experience with data processing frameworks, such as PySpark, Pandas, and Polars.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.
  • Understanding of data warehousing principles and modeling concepts.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
