About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled professional to develop and implement category strategies for assigned IT categories, ensuring optimal procurement processes and supplier relationships. As Chief IT Procurement Strategist, you will be responsible for decision-making on category-level supplier awarding, creation and maintenance of annual procurement plans, and monitoring market developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement category strategies for assigned IT categories
  • Be accountable for decision-making on category-level supplier awarding
  • Create and maintain annual procurement plans in alignment with business partners
  • Monitor market developments, innovations, and technology trends
  • Contribute to sourcing processes and participate in evaluation committees

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of overall procurement experience
  • 2+ years of experience in category management
  • Extensive international market knowledge related to the IT area
  • Relevant legal and regulatory environment know-how
  • Fluent English and Hungarian language skills
  • Confident IT skills, including ERP system (SAP preferred) and MS Office knowledge
