Job Description

Deutsche Telekom TSI Hungary Kft. is seeking a Cloud Consultant to work at the intersection of cloud computing, edge technologies, and sustainability. The ideal candidate will conduct in-depth research on innovative approaches to reducing the energy footprint of edge cloud infrastructures.

This role involves a blend of technical research, cloud architecture design, and thought leadership in developing energy-efficient computing strategies. The Cloud Consultant will work closely with sustainability experts to incorporate green technologies and renewable energy sources into edge cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research focused on developing sustainable, energy-efficient edge cloud infrastructures.
  • Investigate and identify emerging technologies and best practices that minimize the energy consumption of edge computing systems.
  • Develop strategies to optimize power usage in edge data centers, devices, and network nodes.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to evaluate energy-efficient hardware platforms and edge-specific virtualization solutions.

Requirements:

  • AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, AWS Greengrass, Azure IoT Edge, Cloud and edge computing architectures, ARM-based architectures.

  • Research experience, preferably in energy efficiency, sustainability, or green IT technologies.
