About BYD Auto Hungary

On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.

BYD Auto Hungary is looking for a versatile and dynamic IPQC Team leader to our Auto Parts Division.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the judgment and treatment of the product status in the production process to ensure that the unqualified products will not flow into the next process or assembly link.
• Carry out statistical analysis in the form of IPQC Quality Monthly Report regularly according to daily quality report records and process abnormality summary records, so as to provide reference and basis for product performance improvement.
• Be responsible for visual inspection of the process, critical status of inspection items, collection of pictures, production of Kanban and continuous updating.
• Be responsible for training and guiding IPQC inspectors in the first process inspection, patrol inspection and finished product inspection.
• Handle the quality problems in the production process in time, organize relevant departments to analyze the causes and formulate corrective measures, follow up the implementation of improvement measures to ensure that the problems are completely solved.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:

• Over 2 years working experience in relevant positions.
• Familiar with quality inspection tools (such as calipers, micrometers, etc.) and data analysis tools (such as Excel, Minitab, etc.).
• Strong data analysis and problem solving skills.
• Understand the production process and critical control points.
• Have good communication skills, stress resistance, work conscientiously and responsibly.
• Be proficient in English and able to speak Hungarian for daily work communication.
