Are you an experienced Lead software tester, ready to take the next step in your career?

Are you interested in the telecommunications industry?

As a member of our team you will participate in manual and automated testing, validating, specifying and documenting of the IT and telecommunication systems produced and operated by our company. You will take an active part in test planning, test case development and test group leading. You will work close with other team members: software developers, product owners, IT professionals and external partners.



Your profile

Major responsibilities and tasks

  • Managing the design, implementation and execution of functional and non functional tests.
  • Support Integration and Regression testing.
  • Maintain test environments and participate in CI/CD related activities.
  • Executing the manual & automated tests in the short term, and automate the manual tests in the medium term.
  • Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
  • Preparing test documentation.
  • Validating specifications and setup guides.
  • Taking active part in test planning, test case development. 
  • Working closely with other team members: architects, product owners, software developers, IT and external partners.

Required qualifications and skills

  • at least 3-5 year experience as a software tester
  • experience in non-functional testing (Performance, Security)
  • strong experience in troubleshooting 
  • strong knowledge and experience in automated testing (not only UI Automation but API as well)
  • strong analytical, engineering, and technology skills that include practical application, techniques, and principles
  • knowledge of test methods 
  • high level expertise in using test management software
  • independent problem-solving skills and product focused way of thinking 
  • good command of English

Required:

  • Microsoft technologies (Windows infrastructure, IIS)
  • Database basics (SQL/MSSQL)
  • API Testing Tool (e.g.: Postman, SoapUI) 
  • Manual testing
Advantage:
  • BSc, MSc or higher level in Computer Science
  • Telco experience
  • Programming basics (C#/.NET)
  • Atlassian JIRA/Confluence
  • Robotframework
  • Linux knowledge
  • VOIP
  • ISTQB certification (any level)
  • Non-Functional Testing tool (e.g.: JMeter)
  • Experience in mobile application testing
