Position

We are looking for a Java developer for our Risk and Margin Group's Credit Manager Reporting Team. Our applications support Interactive Brokers in managing counterparty credit risk and market risk, while also meeting client and regulatory reporting requirements. We are currently focused on modernizing our technology stack using contemporary Java-based frameworks and integrating comprehensive monitoring and metrics solutions to ensure optimal application performance.

Responsibilities
  • Take part in the BAU development tasks.
  • Designing, implementing, and delivering high-quality software solutions that conform to architectural standards
  • Optimizing and refactoring existing code for improved reliability and performance
  • Understand and rework/improve the existing codebase
  • Advise improvements on the application and architectural level
  • Testing, fine-tuning, and deploying new software features
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
Minimum qualifications:
  • Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in Java development
  • C++ experience is a clear bonus
  • Experience with Spring, Prometheus, Grafana
  • Experience with Oracle and PL/SQL
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills in English
