Role Description

Paynance offer a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Backend Programmer located in Budapest, with work-from-home flexibility. The Backend Programmer will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side logic, collaborating with front-end developers, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. The role involves working on system, software development, implementing new features, planning new projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in backend system development, especially in the field of microservices
  • Relevant technologies: Node.JS, Typescript and Kubernetes
  • Optional technologies: Laravel, Filament
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and debugging
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in the financial technology sector is a plus
