Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Budapest Lead Food Tour Guide located in the Budapest Metropolitan Area. The Lead Food Tour Guide will be responsible for leading guided culinary tours, offering engaging and informative experiences for guests. Daily tasks include conducting tours, sharing historical and cultural insights, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing sales of tour-related items. The guide will provide excellent customer service and ensure all tours run smoothly and effectively.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Guided Tours and a strong interest in history
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Sales skills and ability to enhance guest experiences through upselling tour-related items
  • Passion for food culture and culinary experiences
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of multiple languages is a plus
  • Local knowledge of Budapest and its culinary scene
  • Ability to engage and entertain diverse groups of people
  • Previous experience as a tour guide or in the hospitality or tourism industry is beneficial
