AI/ML Data Platform Engineer

We are looking for a
Platform Engineer
who will ensure that this platform is
optimized, secure, and aligned with the evolving needs of Netline products and their new features
.

This role involves
close collaboration with the Central Data & AI Platform team
to ensure compliance with global standards and policies, while also working with
Senior Data Engineers
and the
Netline AI team
to enable seamless AI/ML workflows.

• managing platform components, implementing governance policies, and maintaining the Data Catalog
  , ensuring that data and AI capabilities are delivered efficiently and securely.

What You'll Do

• Ensure the
  Data & AI Platform on Azure with Databricks
  meets the requirements of Netline products and supports new feature development.
• Collaborate closely with the
  Central Data & AI Platform team
  to align on
  policies, governance, and security standards
  .
• Manage and maintain
  Data Catalogs and data governance policies
  to ensure compliance and discoverability.
• Partner with
  Senior Data Engineers
  and the
  Netline AI team
  to enable seamless deployment of AI/ML solutions within Databricks.
• Optimize platform components for
  performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
  .
• Implement and maintain
  data pipelines, orchestration frameworks, and platform services
  .
• Contribute to
  platform observability, monitoring, and cost optimization
  .
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies in
  data engineering, cloud platforms, and AI infrastructure
  .

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience
  in platform engineering, data engineering, or related roles.
• Strong experience with
  Azure
  and
  Databricks
  for data processing and ML workflows.
• Proficiency in
  Python
  and/or
  Scala
  , with experience in building and maintaining data pipelines.
• Familiarity with
  containerization and orchestration
  (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of
  infrastructure-as-code
  (Terraform, ARM templates).
• Experience with
  data governance, policies, and Data Catalog management
  .
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with
  CI/CD pipelines
  for data and AI workloads.
• Knowledge of
  data lake architectures
  , Delta Lake, and streaming platforms (Kafka, Event Hubs).
• Familiarity with
  MLOps practices
  and integration with AI/ML workflows.
• Exposure to
  observability tools
  (Prometheus, Grafana, Application Insights).
• Understanding of airline industry data domains is a plus.
