You will be part of the Distribution team and will contribute directly to the success of SkyShowtime. As the Distribution & Partnerships Manager for Central and Eastern Europe, you will be responsible for implementing distribution strategy, executing operational plans, growth of linear and non-linear content distribution revenues, and building and developing strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders. You will take part in the negotiation process with operators and distribution partners, and you will also have ownership of the day-to-day commercial relationships to nurture and grow the partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximising coverage and distribution revenues for all channels and streaming products distributed by the company in the respective territory by maintaining and improving current revenue sources and generating new revenue streams. In addition, you will perform distribution-related analyses, prepare offers, and create presentations necessary to get the deal approvals.
  • Keep regular contact with existing clients and study and develop the existing client portfolio, getting client-specific data.
  • Achieve allocated revenue targets through increasing channel penetration and filling MVPD distribution gaps.
  • Increase penetration of the channel portfolio and SVOD product presence. Analyse subscriber reports, sales numbers against targets, and track financial performance.
  • Contribute to preparations and regularly update MVPD forecasts for the region.
  • Monitor and analyse (cable/sat/IP/DTT) TV market – trends, competition, and regulation.
  • Produce reports for the management. Appraise needs or opportunities in the market.
  • Prepare contracts with the legal team, negotiate, and re-negotiate deals according to the company's distribution strategy.
  • Work closely together with the other members of the distribution team and co-departments.
  • Other administrative tasks: collect and process monthly subscriber data and provide all necessary billing information for the Finance Department.
  • Manage the affiliate (subscriber) database accurately. Manage accounts receivable. Support co-departments to keep an accurate record of receiving devices and viewing card inventory.
  • Any other task based on ad-hoc management requests.

What you'll bring

  • Comprehensive and demonstrable experience and network in the media industry in Central and Eastern Europe, in a similar position with a strong understanding of the regional media landscape with special focus on Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia.
  • Operational excellence, strong commercial mindset with a proven ability to translate. strategic and commercial insight into successful business results.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Solid people skills, incl. ability to build sincerity and trust.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to work in a matrix environment.
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt rapidly in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities and the ability to react quickly, dynamically, and deliver results.
  • Fluent in English and one of the relevant local languages.
