How can you make a difference?
UNICEF's Global Shared Services Centre in Budapest is recruiting highly dedicated individuals for travel administration function to GSSC, UNICEF will be able to streamline processes, better utilize resources, improve reporting, monitor policy compliance ensuring quality of work, performance delivery, service excellence and compliance with the Travel unit
Key functions, accountabilities, and related tasks:
Under the supervision of the Administrative Specialist (Travel) provides day-to-day operational and advisory support, ensuring high-quality service delivery, excellent performance, and full compliance in managing Travel Team. The post will provide inputs to improve the travel policies & procedures, identifies new ways to enhance existing services/ systems and prepares responses to all audit observations and findings. And also coordinate with the in-house travel agency manager regarding all service matters, entitlements, air ticketing.

Minimum requirements:
- Education: A completed university degree in Public/Business Administration or any other related field is required.
- Work Experience:
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience in administration, preferably with an international organization and involved in the administration of Travel Management, is required.
- Proven supervisory and people management experience including developing and maintaining high performing teams is highly desirable.
- Working experience in ERP system (SAP) is required
- Experience in UNICEF/UN Travel Units and Travel administration and handling travel in a shared services/business support center is highly desirable.
- Experience in planning, organizing and delivering administrative support services is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of UN/UNICEF'S rules, regulations and procedures is considered an asset.
- Experience using global distribution system (i.e., SABRE, Amadeus…etc.) is considered an asset.
- Skills (optional): Supervisory and People Management; Knowledge Management; Client Orientation
- Language Requirements: Fluency in both spoken and written English is required.
- Working knowledge of French and/or Spanish is an advantage. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese or Russian) is an asset.
