We're looking for a hands-on cloud expert to build and evolve a cloud-native enterprise data platform.At Lufthansa Systems Hungária, we don't just provision resources—we design, integrate, and deliver advanced cloud-native solutions. As a Cloud Engineer – Data, you will shape and optimize an Azure-based platform that powers airline data products, advanced analytics, and machine learning workloads across multiple business domains.What you'll be doing:Architecting, deploying, and managing robust, secure, and scalable Azure PaaS services—beyond basic admin tasks.Building application-level services and integrations, enabling data engineers and developers to deliver impactful solutions quickly.Automating infrastructure with Terraform and creating CI/CD piplines that streamline deployments.Collaborating directly with application teams to align infrastructre capabilities with business and data requirements.Troubleshooting, performance tuning, and evolving platform services to keep pace with modern cloud practices.You should bring hands-on experience with:Terraform (or similar declaraitve IaC) – this is essential for automating and managing infrastructure.Azure PaaS services such as Databricks, Data Factory, Azure Machine Learning, AKS, Storage, Key Vault, and Container Registry.Azure Networking concepts as well as Linux and Windows VMs.Azure DevOps (or similar solution) for CICD.Git for version control.Scripting and automation using Python and/or Bash.Tech you'll use daily:Azure PaaS: Databricks, Data Factory, Machine Learning, AKS, Storage, Key Vault, Container Registry.Azure Networking, Linux and Windows VMs.Terraform, Azure DevOps, Git.Python and Bash for scripting and automation.What makes you a great fit:Proven, practical experience with Azure or another major public cloud.A builder's mindset: you're comfortable assembling and integrating services, not just maintaining them.Knowledge of software development practices and at least one scripting language.Solid understanding of networking, cloud security, and performance optimization.Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.Willingness to stay ahead of evolving cloud technologies and continuously grow your expertise.Team player with a customer-focused approach and fluent English (spoken and written).Willingness to travel occasionally (
