And now the Freeway team is seeking our new 
HR Manager
.

What your new job will look like?

The HR Manager plays a key role in keeping HR processes and policies in full compliance with the legal and regulatory framework, proactively identifies areas of improvement for HR domain, supports employees and leaders and ensures the smooth and effective running of the HR activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the HR department, guides and supports the work of junior colleagues
  • Works closely with HR Assistant on employment contracts, contract modifications and termination documents, employee records and personal files
  • Coordinates payroll procedures, including collecting and submitting monthly data to payroll provider, reviewing and approving payroll outputs
  • Provides guidance and advice to staff and managers on HR-related topics
  • Participates on the implementation of HRIS Software
  • Coordinates the performance appraisal process
  • Facilitates the annual salary increase and bonus calculation
  • Develops, implements and/or maintains compensation and benefits strategy and policies
  • Reviews, maintains and creates HR-related procedures and policies, ensuring legal compliance
  • Manages contract agreements with HR-related vendors
  • Plans and organizes trainings
  • Develops workplace culture by fostering a positive, inclusive, and productive environment
  • Performs other HR duties and manages additional HR-related projects as assigned

Requirements

We'd love to meet you

Especially if you can talk to us about your:

  • Proven experience in several areas of HR: assisting payroll processes, performance appraisal, budget planning, negotiations with managers
  • Experience in team leadership (there are currently two junior colleagues in the team, so it's perfect if you've had smaller teams)
  • HR degree or any Bachelor's degree with HR faculty
  • Confident knowledge of Hungarian labour law and regulations
  • Strong communication skills both in English and Hungarian
  • User level knowledge MS Office skills
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation, with proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Passion for creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture
