Position Overview

We are looking for a creative and data-driven
Social Media Manager
to shape and execute the online presence of 4iG Space & Defence across key digital channels.

This role combines strategic thinking and hands-on content creation — managing the company's LinkedIn page and other social platforms, building a consistent brand voice, and developing content that communicates innovation, expertise, and impact. You will work closely with the marketing, creative, and communication teams to ensure that every post contributes to the brand's positioning and business objectives.

  • Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and own the company's social media strategy
  • Build and maintain a forward-looking content calendar aligned with marketing priorities and business goals
  • Propose and introduce new content formats (e.g. thought leadership posts, carousels, video series, behind-the-scenes content)
  • Benchmark competitors and track industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
  • Define and track success KPIs (reach, engagement, follower growth, CTR, etc.)
  • Content Development & Publishing
  • Write and edit engaging, on-brand content for social media posts
  • Collaborate with the Photo & Video Specialist, designers, and external partners to produce visuals and videos
  • Oversee content creation workflows and ensure timely publication
  • Adapt and repurpose marketing and event materials for social media channels
  • Manage publishing schedules and maintain regular activity on all platforms
  • Community Management & Engagement
  • Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions
  • Foster professional dialogue and brand advocacy within the community
  • Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers, partners, and industry voices
  • Analysis & Reporting
  • Monitor and analyze pe0072formance metrics of social media content
  • Prepare regular reports on engagement, reach, and growth for the Head of Marketing
  • Use insights to refine content strategy and optimize performance
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager, Event Specialist, and business division leads to align messaging with key initiatives
  • Coordinate with Group Communication to ensure alignment with corporate campaigns and tone
  • Keep internal stakeholders informed about planned and published content
  • Innovation & Trend Monitoring
  • Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices
  • Experiment with emerging formats (e.g. polls, live sessions, newsletters, employee advocacy posts)
  • Continuously bring fresh, creative ideas to strengthen the company's online presence

What you will need for successful work

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, or related field
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in social media management or digital content creation
  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills in English
  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn and B2B social media communication
  • Experience with analytics and social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social)
  • Ability to balance creativity with data-driven decision-making
