Test Manager - Data migration project (Financial sector)

Our partner, a leading company in the financial services industry, is looking for an experienced
Test Manager
to join their large-scale data migration program.

Main responsibilities:

  • Perform test management, test preparation, and execution tasks within the data migration project
  • Lead and support the testing team, coordinating with business areas in testing and defect management
  • Support test planning (schedule, resources) and contribute to strategy creation
  • Coordinate test teams and manage the defect reporting process
  • Lead the creation of test documentation
  • Provide training and professional guidance to team members
  • Liaise with other testing teams and the Global Test Manager
  • Coordinate development-related tasks across IT areas, ensuring effective collaboration between teams

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in
    data migration projects
    (must-have)
  • Background in
    financial / banking / insurance sector
  • Minimum
    5 years of professional experience
    in testing or related fields
  • Good knowledge of
    databases (SQL)
    and
    integration files
    (services, line-based)
  • Familiarity with
    test tools
    ; experience with
    automated testing
    is an advantage
  • Understanding of
    banking processes and regulations
    is an advantage
  • Fluent English
    communication skills
  • Strong
    stakeholder management
    skills and a
    proactive, hands-on approach
