In the IT area for insurance technology, we develop important topics in close collaboration with colleagues from the Allianz Deutschland network, such as:

• The development and operation of read and write services for ABS-DE
• Automated processing of ABS-DE applications and changes, person setups and changes, claims notifications, and performance notifications
• Integration mechanisms, flexible architectures, and decoupling strategies (e.g., eventing) These systems form the technological basis for the data availability of ABS-DE and the automatic processing of write operations according to ABS-DE. We are an agile unit where participation, co-creation, personal responsibility, and iterative learning are highly valued.

For this IT area, we are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer (m/f/d) to further develop and operate our systems. 

What you do

• Expansion and further development of our cloud-based applications using modern technologies professionally
• Determination of parameters for the infrastructure we use
• Consulting, support, and very close and intensive exchange with users in the specialist areas and other Allianz units
• Regular exchange with colleagues in the infrastructure area to coordinate the latest technologies and trends, ensure stable operation, and meet the high security and data protection requirements of a leading international insurance company
• Responsible and committed participation in upcoming projects across all sectors

What you bring

• Completed studies in computer science, mathematics, or comparable knowledge
• Experience in the DevOps environment with Java, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, Jenkins, Git, and GitHub
• Knowledge of networks, AWS Cloud, and relational databases
• Knowledge of test systems for web applications
• Knowledge in the use of AI tools and prompt engineering
• Strong ability to quickly grasp, analyze, and precisely formulate complex issues, combined with a strong solution orientation
• High degree of personal responsibility
• Strong teamwork skills, social competence, and good personal presentation, especially in collaboration with clients
• Very good German language skills (at least B2) in spoken and written form
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use
