Presales Engineer Redhat.
This role is a bridge between our Clients and our Business Development Team with a needed professional expertise in a technology field.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex solutions,
  • Perform a discovery sessions to understand customer business requirements in order to propose the best solution,
  • Work closely with the Red Hat and Arrow Channel Sales team to deliver partner workshops in line with the channel go-to-market strategy,
  • Deliver customer workshops for both technical and non-technical audience to address customer use cases and inspire architecture design decisions,
  • Support partners in delivery of proofs of concepts and pilots to increase customer confidence in Red Hat solutions,
  • Demonstrate thought leadership by speaking at industry-leading conferences and producing technology expert content, like whitepapers, webinars, blogs etc.

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years experience with Unix or Linux, infrastructure technologies like Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), system monitoring, management and automation,
  • 1-3 years of experience with container technology like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift,
  • Excellent knowledge of virtualization platforms like Red Hat Virtualization, KVM, VMware and, Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Good knowledge of public cloud technologies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Compute Engine (GCE)
  • Understanding of modern methodologies like Agile and DevOps
  • Knowledge of clustering, directory services, and identity management solutions,
  • Experience in designing and operating medium to large-scale IT environments with high-availability requirements,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with extensive experience in presenting to IT managers and C-level executives,
  • Solutions sales mentality in highly competitive environment,
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certifications is a plus,
  • Familiarity with IBM software and cloud technologies is a plus,
  • Pre-sales experience in cloud infrastructure automation and management is a plus.
