Head of Payment & Bank Card Operations

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to head our Payment & Bank Card Operations Department. In this key role, you will ensure the seamless, compliant and efficient operation of our payment and bank card services, directly contributing to the company's long-term strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Operational Leadership

  • Drive the implementation of the company's business plan and strategic vision within payment and bank card operations.
  • Lead the end-to-end operation of the Payment & Bank Card Operations Department, ensuring efficiency, service quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain and continuously update internal policies, procedures and documentation.
  • Ensure daily treasury operations run reliably and according to regulatory and internal requirements.

Bank Card Operations

  • Manage the full lifecycle of bank card issuing and acquiring activities.
  • Supervise fraud management, card settlements, dispute handling and mandatory reporting.

Team & Process Excellence

  • Provide strong, hands-on leadership to the team; ensure performance, motivation and professional development.
  • Collaborate with IT and system developers to test, enhance and optimise operational systems.
  • Support decision-making processes in economic, HR and operational matters.
  • Assist in Board decision preparation and execute Board-approved tasks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Regular cooperation with:

  • the CEO,
  • colleagues within the Financial & Strategic Directorate,
  • leaders of other business units,
  • and the entire Payment & Bank Card Operations team.

What We Expect

  • University degree in finance, economics, business or related field.
  • Several years of experience in payment operations, and/or bank card operations.
  • Proven leadership experience with strong operational and strategic capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
  • Process-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Fluency in English
