General description of the company

We are a group of three start-ups, all led by the same CEO, but operating in different sectors: cinema, video games, and publishing.

The companies are located in several countries: Singapore, Switzerland, France, and Hungary. We have two offices of 250 m² each in the heart of Budapest, in the 6th and 7th districts. A large part of our operations are based in Budapest.

We develop games that combine cinema and video games. We continuously develop 4 games in parallel, using Unity and QML. We develop large games which take 2-3 years, and also smaller games which take a couple of months (escape games, multi choices games, etc.)

We have the entire production pipeline integrated into our studio, from pre-production, filming, post-production, VFX, and editing, to 3D artists, 2D artists, and of course developers.

We are looking for a game designer to join our team and assist the lead producer.

Description of the position

The main mission consists of:

  • Designing the games

Contributing to the creation of game mechanics

Creating complete game mechanics

Testing prototypes with the developers until the mechanics are satisfactory

Contributing to the development of narratives and interesting environments

  • Level design

Ensuring the proper integration of assets

Ensuring that the narrative logic is respected in all created and integrated assets

  • UX

Ensuring a good game's UX in collaboration with the other team members

  • QA

Testing the game to ensure the proper implementation of the mechanics

Participating in global game testing (UI, UX, asset quality, etc.)

Required skills

  • Master in game design
  • Studies or experience in UX
  • Taste for reading and writing are a plus
