We are looking for a
Senior Test Engineer
to join our dedicated team working on the testing of tools that support the management of test equipment in our partner's laboratories. This role suits a proactive and open-minded professional who enjoys combining hands-on testing with a broader architectural perspective and is eager to contribute to scalable and maintainable test solutions. You will support the shaping of test strategies, collaborate closely with developers and testers, and help foster a quality-driven mindset within the development teams.

Key tasks:

• Collaborate with the testing team to ensure efficient and effective testing activities.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of test strategies, tools, and frameworks.
• Support the optimization of test environments and help refine testing methodologies.
• Monitor and interpret key testing metrics to drive ongoing improvements.
• Promote a quality-first mindset within the development teams through active collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in
  software testing
  , preferably with involvement in
  test design
  or
  test architecture
  .
• Strong knowledge of software testing principles (
  ISTQB
  certification is a plus).
• Experience with
  programming
  and
  test automation
  .
• Familiarity with
  automated testing frameworks
  and
  tools
  .
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g.,
  Git
  , GitLab).
• Strong
  Linux
  knowledge.
• Ability to contribute to
  test strategy
  and
  planning
  discussions.
• Open-mindedness
  and
  confident communication
  skills (e.g., with developers and clients).
• Proactive
  personality and
  structured problem-solving
  mindset.
• Outstanding written and oral skills in both
  English
  and
  Hungarian
  .

Preferred additional skills, personal traits, experience

• Hands-on experience in
  designing
  and
  setting up
  test environments, architectures, and plans.
• Knowledge of
  Robot
  Framework
  ,
  Selenium
  ,
  JCAT
  , or any other test framework.
• ISTQB Advanced Level
• Experience with
  REST API
• Familiarity with
  Python
  and
  Ansible
  .
• Experience with CI tools (e.g.,
  Jenkins
  ).
• Networking knowledge.
