We are seeking an experienced and assertive IT Project Manager to lead a high-visibility system integration project connected to the launch of a new customer experience environment in London. The role involves overseeing the delivery of a complex, multi-system implementation covering consumer-facing digital journeys, operational workflows, and supporting integrations across ecommerce, ticketing, CRM, and back-office platforms.

This is a fast-paced initiative requiring someone who is hands-on, delivery-focused, and confident driving accountability across multiple technical and business teams. Experience in ticketing platforms (online booking, payments, billing) is highly advantageous. If not, strong experience with PACE governance is essential.

Role Summary

The Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of the system integration workstream, ensuring rigorous governance, structured delivery, and strong control of timelines, scope, and budget. Reporting into the Programme Manager, this role requires someone who takes full ownership, drives disciplined execution, and maintains clarity and alignment across stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the delivery of the system integration project, ensuring strict adherence to scope, timelines, quality, and financial controls.
• Define, manage, and enforce project deliverables and milestones, holding internal and external stakeholders accountable.
• Lead implementation activities across consumer journey flows, ticketing/booking engines (if applicable), CRM triggers, and supporting backend systems.
• Work collaboratively with the Programme Manager, BAs, engineers, and SMEs to ensure all objectives are met and dependencies are managed.
• Build and maintain detailed project plans with clear deadlines, ensuring proactive tracking and reporting.
• Identify risks, issues, and blockers early and take action to prevent or minimise delays.
• Maintain strong communication with senior stakeholders, ensuring clarity on expectations, status, and escalations.
• Enforce structured agile delivery where relevant, ensuring teams maintain pace, discipline, and clear prioritisation.
• Provide transparent, no-surprise reporting on progress, risks, dependencies, and financial health.
• Apply change control processes rigorously to prevent scope creep.
• Ensure full governance compliance (PACE or similar), including documentation, assurance, tiering, and risk assessments.
• Manage project financials including forecasting, burn rate tracking, and cost control.
• Oversee BAU operational financials where required to support continuity post-implementation.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven background leading complex system implementation or integration projects, ideally consumer-facing.
• Experience in ticketing, booking, visitor experience, online payment, or billing systems is highly desirable.
• Strong governance discipline, ideally with PACE experience (assurance, controls, documentation, financial tracking).
• Demonstrated ability to drive accountability, challenge constructively, and keep teams on track.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and confident communication style.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; able to make decisive calls under pressure.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and aligning IT and business functions.
• Solid understanding of project and BAU-level financial management.
• Relevant project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM) are an advantage.
