Product Control Lead Analyst
The Product Control Lead Analyst participates is a senior level position responsible for leading efforts that ensure the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records in coordination with the Finance team. The overall objective of this role is to drive efforts to control and support data integrity and general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution and new activity analysis, valuation control and product P&L and balance sheet reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Finance industry trends
- Contribute to the directional strategy of the Finance function, anticipating the impact to daily work and the business
- Evaluate and resolve complex issues and select the best action by weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting needs
- Ultimately accountable for the control design of the team including timely completion and monitoring of control activities; ensuring compliance with Citi policies.
- Hire and retain talent, coaching supervisors of individual teams
- Represents the teams on local and regional management meeting, ensuring smooth flow of communication and messages.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 6-8 years of relevant experience
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Confident analytical and communication skills
- Controls focused mind-set
- Strong PC skills in Excel, Word. Training will be provided on other in house and industry standard systems used in this position.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master's degree preferred
